Kaia Hedlund enters her second year as Director of Athletics at Chaminade University of Honolulu. The USC graduate also currently serves as the President of Kaico Sports, a consulting firm specializing in intercollegiate and amateur sports and as the Associate Director of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation. Kaia has also served as the Director of Special Projects for the Big West Conference, Executive Director of the 2004 Long Beach Aquatics Festival and as an Assistant/Associate Athletics Director at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and the University of California, Irvine. Kaia has served on numerous national committees and boards and has served as chair of the Men's and Women's NCAA Water Polo Committees as well as the NCAA Two Year College Relations Committee.

Kaia is married to Gary Wible and currently a resident of Long Beach, California and Honolulu, Hawaii. Hedlund swam four years for USC, captaining the team for two years. Competed in Water Polo (one US National Championship - amongst other top 5 teams) and paddled Outrigger Canoes (4 time Na Wahine o Ke Kai). Kaia continues to swim at the Masters Level.
