MG: CUH Golf Team Struggles in Match with Hawaii Pacific University

Kaneohe, HI- The Chaminade golf team took on cross town rival HPU and lost, the combined team score was 401 for Chaminade and 328 for Sea Warriors. Four players for Chaminade took part in the match, one sat out due to injury The results for the Chaminade team were as follows; Layne Morita shot an 88 Joseph Schriml shot an 102 Kyle Neuman shot an 104 Darren Wong shot an 107 Jon Ichimura (Withdrew from competition due an wrist / ankle injury) Layne Morita said of the match, " To shoot a good score out on one of the toughest golf courses in the United States requires much precision and mental toughness. It was a challenge, and now I know what I areas of my game need improvement for the next match. The Chaminade Golf team will tee off again on April 10th at the Olamana Golf Course, they are set to tee off around 1PM HT.
