WTennis: Swords Fall to HPU 1-8, 0-9

Honolulu, HI- Chaminade Women's Tennis opened the season with #14 ranked HPU twice and fell 1-8, 0-9. Chaminade was led by Joelle Tanaka, who defeated HPU's Elena Hudzikova 6-4, 7-6 in #3 singles in the first match. The Swords nearly claimed a victory later in the day in #1 doubles as the pair of Takara and Tanaka fell 8-6. With the defeats, CUH falls to 0-2. The Swords are set to face national power, BYU-Hawaii on February 7th at 11AM at Central Oahu Regional Park.
