Silverswords Lost to the Antelopes today 2-0

Honolulu, HI- The Silverswords fought hard against the Antelopes in a close game loosing 2- 0. The Silverswords only trailed by one heading into halftime and kept it close until the 57th minute when the Antelopes scored their second and final goal of the game. The Silverswords played well and despite their best efforts fell short today, goal keeper Darren Smith had 8 saves in the game. Tony Palacios and Marc Contee had one shot each on goal. Joel Ibarra scored his third goal of the year for the Antelopes and Tony Judice scored his seventh goal of the year. Tony Judice, Albert Escovar and Julien Roberts also each had assists in the game. The Antelopes out shot the Silverswords 21 to 2. With the loss, the Silverswords move to 2-14-1 overall, 0-8-1 in the Pac West. Grand Canyon improves their record to 10-4-4 overall, 7-0-1 in the Pac West. The Silverswords take on the Argonauts of Norte Dame de Namur Wednesday, October 31st at St. Louis Field. Kick off is scheduled for 12:00PM HST.
