2006: Catian averaged 1.03 digs per game as a defensive specialist for Chaminade.

2005: Played for Menlo College in Menlo Park, California under Coach Bill Imwalle. Had 261 digs and 26 service aces as a sophomore. In 2004, dug 248 balls for the Oaks with a season high 20 digs against new Pac West conference member, Notre Dame de Namur. A member of the Dean's List all four semesters at Menlo College and treasurer of the Student Athlete Leadership Council.

High School: An honorable mention ILH selection as a junior and senior in volleyball. Catian was named Hanalani Royals Volleyball Team MVP three times under head coach Julie Stoker. Krista was also an ILH honorable mention selection in basketball in 2002 and 2004 as well as team MVP.

Personal: The daughter of Frank and Carol Catian, Krista was born in Honolulu, HI. She has three older siblings, Marisha, Kara and Keone.
