Chaminade Still Rolling After Win Tonight

Honolulu, HI- Despite the impressive stats for both teams, the Silverswords came out the winners tonight's battle with BYU- Hawaii. In tonight's 5 game war the Silverswords rallied back down two games to one to beat the Seasiders.

The Silverswords never gave up in tonight's match against the Seasiders of BYU- Hawaii. The Silverswords played hard all game and ended up winning 3 games to 2. The scores for the games are as follows; game # 1 - 30 -18 Chaminade, game # 2- 30-28 BYU-Hawaii, game # 3 - 30- 19 BYU- Hawaii, game # 4 32 - 30 Chaminade and game # 5 was 16-14 Chaminade.

Samantha Miller had 15 kills and 15 digs, Trina Kauliakamoa had 13 kills and 18 digs Evelyn Bluthenthal had also 15 kills and Tanya Alvino had 41 assists in the victory over the Seasiders of BYU- Hawaii.

For BYU- Hawaii Noelle Filimoeatau lead the way with 20 kills and 21 digs, Agnes Tuilevuka had 14 kills and 24 digs, Faylynn Merrick had 16 kills, Tanza Buroker had 13 kills, Keisha Moeai had 28 digs and LeAnn Mapu lead with 52 assists.

The win moves the Silverswords 14-6 overall and 7-5 in the Pacific West Conference, while the loss for the Seasiders moves them to 13-8-1 overall, 8-4 in the Pacific West Conference.

The Silverswords next game is at home against Hawaii Pacific University on November 8th at 7:00pm at McCabe Gym in Honolulu.
