Chaminade Women's Volleyball Concludes Season with Loss to BYU-H 3-0

Laie, HI- The series was dominated by the home team. Two matches at Laie, two BYU-Hawaii wins, one match in Honolulu, a Silversword win. Unfortunately, last nights match was in Laie.

The Seasiders started out hot and finished off Chaminade's six match winning streak (which included a win over BYU-Hawaii) in three games, 30-19, 30-11, 31-29.

Chaminade was led by freshman outside, Samantha Miller with 12 kills, senior Evelyn Bluthenthal added 11. Chaminade was out dug 62-53 and out hit .290 to .113.

The Seasiders were led by Faylynn Merrick with 13 kills.

Chaminade finishes the season 15-7, 8-6 in conference (good for third place) and most likely outside of an NCAA tournament birth. The Seasiders finish at 13-9, 9-5 in the PacWest.
